ALT Software Announces New Senior Executive Appointments
TORONTO, Ontario, February 12, 2008 - ALT Software Inc., the leading provider in safety critical solutions for the embedded graphics market, today announced the appointments of Darryl Parisien as President and David Brennan as Chief Financial Officer. The new senior management team is tasked to build upon ALT Softwares foundation of innovative engineering and lead the organization through the next important stages of growth. Both appointments are effective immediately.
Darryl Parisien is succeeding ALT Software's founder Chris Brady, who remains a contributing member of the board of directors and begins his new role as Chief Strategic Officer (CSO). Darryl brings over 15 years of experience leading and growing software and professional service companies.

Most recently, Darryl lead the fast-growing Professional Services division at Certicom Corp., where he was able to double revenue by focusing on delivering repeatable solutions in the embedded device, consumer electronics, broadcasting and gaming markets. Before that, Darryl served as CTO of eSalveo Inc., an ASP business allowing physicians to offer non-urgent, uninsured medical services to their patients. He also co-founded Corporate Health Solutions, which was funded by Aetna Health and provided enterprise solutions for outsourcing occupational medicine and disability management programs. As CIO and VP of Product Development of Medcan Health Management Inc., Darryl led the design and development of products targeted for Fortune 1000 clients. He has also held political assistant positions to the Minister of Human Resources and the Minister of National Health and Welfare.
David Brennan brings more than 20 years of financial and operations experience to his role at ALT Software. He has held senior management positions with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), AT&T Capital (acquired by Newcourt Capital), Bank of Montreal, PixStream Incorporated (acquired by Cisco Systems), Sirific Wireless Corporation, and most recently as CFO at LiveHive Systems Inc.. Over his career, David has been directly involved in raising private capital, numerous acquisitions and corporate integrations, asset divestitures, and the strategic positioning of both large and small corporations. David holds a bachelor of business administration degree (honors) from the University of Prince Edward Island and is a chartered accountant.
