ALT Software is a Wind River strategic partner with a long history of providing device and application software and development services for Wind River customers in a variety of embedded markets. ALT’s product line includes embedded graphics device drivers which provide a high performance and reliable foundation for next-generation embedded systems in diverse environments ranging from in-car electronics to safety-critical avionics cockpit display systems.
ALT Software provides high performance embedded OpenGL 1.x, OpenGL ES 1.1 and 2.0, and OpenGL SC (Safety Critical) display drivers for the Fujitsu Coral PA, Carmine, and Ruby GPU. Also supported are AMD’s ATI Radeon E4690 (M96), Mobility Radeon X1400 (M54), and Mobility Radeon 9000 (M9) GPU, as well as the Imagination Technologies MBX and SGX graphics IP core. Our graphics drivers support VxWorks 5.x, VxWorks 6.x, VxWorks 653, and Wind River Linux.
ALT’s graphics drivers are currently deployed in a number of aircraft cockpit display systems that run on the VxWorks 653 RTOS. Our products include WindML drivers that support both WindML and OpenGL on a single platform, bringing 3D functionality and OpenGL support to WindML-based systems.
