GE Fanuc Controls Embedded Computing
Challenge
GE Fanuc Embedded Systems, manufacturer of ruggedized graphics boards for the Mil/Aero market, needed a vendor with expertise in hardware accelerated graphics to help them develop embedded display drivers that support GEFES hardware.Solution
ALT worked with GE Fanuc to develop a custom 2D / 3D OpenGL graphics driver based on ALT's core driver technology. The resulting product enables hardware accelerated 2D and 3D graphics on GE Fanuc’s ruggedized graphics boards. ALT also provides long-term technical support to GE Fanuc’s customers, and offers custom system integration services and DO-178B certifiable software products and services.
Challenge
Honeywell needed an OpenGL solution to enable the Boeing Mesa AH-64D Apache Longbow's Advanced High Resolution Color Avionics Display.Solution
ALT's real-time and embedded mission critical OpenGL solution was selected to enable the AH-64D Apache Longbow's Advanced High Resolution Color Avionics Display because of its long and successful history developing 2D and 3D accelerated drivers for a variety of embedded systems running various real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, INTEGRITY, Linux, and CS LEOS.
SBS and Boeing B-52 Legacy System Upgrade ProgramChallenge
Kaiser needed a company with extensive real-time accelerated OpenGL graphics experience.Solution
ALT Software was selected as Kaiser's "OpenGL developer of choice" to develop display systems which allows pilots to view digital moving maps, enact weapon guidance, increase their situational awareness and perform other mission critical aircraft management functions. ALT's real-time and embedded OpenGL was selected and is currently deployed in various F/A-18E/F Super Hornet aircraft
Challenge
SBS needed OpenGL graphics drivers for their G2 family of PMC graphics cards.Solution
ALT was selected to provide OpenGL graphics drivers for the Boeing B-52 legacy system upgrade program. G2 cards enable high performance graphics acceleration on VME and Compact PCI platforms. The dual-head G2 is a popular choice for new cockpit displays as well as legacy system upgrades. ALT’s G2 drivers support the Green Hills INTEGRITY and Wind River VxWorks RTOS as well as Microsoft Windows XP
